There is a type of South American vine Boquila trifoliata aka chameleon vine that mimics the shape, size, texture, and color of leaves from nearby plants - including fake plastic plants! And how it does this is mostly a mystery. It's the only known polymorphic mimic in the plant kingdom. Amazing.

Variants of fungi called CORDYCEPS alter an insect's brain so it climbs up as far as it can. Then the fungus grows from the insect's corpse. VERY creepy. This is an excellent mechanism for regulating the size of the insect population.
